Design and Multi-Parameter Optimization of a Combined Chinese Milk Vetch (Astragalus sinicus L.) Seed Harvester

In order to solve problems such as poor applicability of headers, weak separation ability threshing mechanisms and impurity-removal cleaning devices in the existing seed harvest methods Chinese milk vetch (Astragalus sinicus L.), a combined harvester was designed this paper. The parameters key components, flexible anti pod-dropping seedling-lifting header, longitudinal rod-teeth-type device air-sieve-type layered impurity-controlled device, were optimized. Aiming at reducing loss rate, breakage rate impurity during mechanical harvesting process, through multi-parameter optimization, best combination working obtained: machine forward speed 3 km·h−1, rotation drum 550 r·min−1, fan 990 r·min−1 scale sieve’s opening 35 mm. Field tests performed under these parameters, results showed that 2.35%, 0.22% 0.51%, which better than technical requirements less 5% 3% specified relevant standards. research can shortage problem efficient equipment large-scale planting areas vetch, will further help carry out experiments on different varieties other green manure paddy fields.
